24/7 PASSIONATE CARE

Elderly Care

As we age, our needs change and we can become dependent on others for certain tasks. We appreciate that this can be frightening for some people who become reluctant to accept help. At 24/7 Passionate Care, we are well-versed in determining the right level of care to ensure your loved one gets the support they need while maintaining the independence they desire.

The care package we put in place will be created in conjunction with the family and with healthcare professionals. Our service is designed to support independent living, not take it away and the care we offer is fully flexible to ensure we get the balance just right and help maintain or improve the quality of life of your elderly relative.

Fully regulated elderly care at home

24/7 Passionate Care is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Our carers are carefully chosen for their commitment and compassion. Before taking part in our extensive training programme they are required to demonstrate the right personal qualities to provide exceptional care at al times.

Why choose 24/7 Passionate Care?

We pride ourselves on providing  the highest quality of elderly care in the home. Selecting the right carer for you or a loved one is a big decision so we won’t pressure you but will take note of all your requirements to create a bespoke care package that is right for you.

Flexible home care

We offer a range of assisted living home care services for the elderly, from home visits to live-in care:

  • Respite care – pre-arranged or in an emergency
  • Nursing-led clinical support for many conditions
  • Specialist carers for people with dementia and Alzheimer’s

What is care for the elderly?

Care for the elderly is dedicated support for an elderly person who require help to remain living independently.

Elderly care services can include:

  • Meal preparation
  • Personal care
  • Domiciliary care
  • Household chores
  • Mobility support
  • Help with administering medication
  • Companionship
  • Help getting out and about

Elderly care can come in the form of regular home visits at a time that is most convenient or beneficial for the care receiver. If required, live-in care can also be arranged to give added peace of mind and ensure your carer is always on hand. This additional support can be particularly useful for someone living with dementia.

How do you provide elderly care in the home?

Our primary focus is on delivering the right level of care to provide a good quality of life and maintain as much independence as possible.

This might include some personal care tasks, meal preparation or help with administering medication.

If you are prone to slips or falls, your carer can assist with mobility around the home as well as assessing the property and removing trip hazards etc to make it easier for you to move about.

Your carer will be carefully chosen to support you and meet your needs. It’s important that you and your carer have a good relationship and we will bear this in mind when allocating the right carer for you.

All our carers are trained in the use of assistive technology, such as personal alarms and home adaptations.

In-home senior care

Senior care service can range from a short visit in the morning to make you breakfast, right through to more thorough support, such as helping you to wash and get dressed.

Visits can be once a day or several times according to your requirements or request.

If you require regular support throughout the day, live-in care is an option that means you always have a carer close by to assist you when needed. The number of adults over 85 who require live-in care is expected to double over the next 20 years. So, if you find you need additional help, don’t worry – you’re in good company.

Many people prefer the prospect of a live-in carer to moving into a care home so it can be a good compromise if you have ongoing needs but want to remain living in your own home.

24/7 Passionate is already helping many people with dementia to continue living independently at home with a little extra support from visiting or live-in carers.

Elderly live-in care

With an aging population, elderly live-in care is becoming increasingly popular in the UK.

Tasks performed by carers include:

  • Housekeeping support such as laundry, vacuuming and cleaning
  • Preparing meals
  • Personal care such as support with bathing, dressing and washing
  • Medication support
  • Continence care, including changing pads
  • Help with toilet needs
  • Stoma or catheter care
  • Assistance with mobility
  • Running errands
  • Companionship

If you or a loved one needs support due to living with dementia, Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s, or if you are in need of additional help following a stroke, a live-in carer can provide support tailored to your needs
