Nursing care offers individuals the support they need to cope with a range of clinical conditions while continuing to go about their daily life. At 24/7 Passionate Care, our nurses are fully qualified and experienced in a variety of nursing roles. There is little our team has not seen and dealt with. We are passionate about assisting people with neurological and physical conditions who require additional support to thrive. They will work with you, your medical team and any other involved parties to ensure the care you receive supports your needs.
All our care packages are built around the requirements of the patient and can be adapted as needs change.
Our nurse-led teams have extensive medical experience and every nurse on our books is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Services available as part of the 24/7 Passionate Care nursing care services include face-to-face assessments and the coordination of the right help from the most appropriate agencies to provide a holistic support package.
Each care package is based on the needs of the individual and is tailored to offer the necessary support and achieve their long-term goals.

What is nursing care?
Nursing care is the delivery of a bespoke care package delivered by specially trained carers and overseen by a qualified clinical nurse.
Nursing care at home helps those living with complex health needs to maintain independence and stay continue living at home while also receiving the right level of care.
Nursing care is usually delivered by a live-in carer as he needs are generally quite complex. Having a live-in carer means the support you need is always close by. Live-in carers are carefully selected to match your care needs and interests as they will build a rapport with you and become a valuable addition to your home.

Important information about Nursing care
Nursing care (sometimes called clinical care) is overseen by a registered nurse with many years of experience. The lead nurse will be responsible for allocating the best carers according to the needs of the care package and also for the ongoing training and development of staff. They will keep in contact with all other agencies involved in your care to ensure a consistent and comprehensive delivery of Nursing care at all times.
Nursing care is more involved than generic home care as it is only necessary where there are complex medical needs such as continence and stoma care, ventilated care, PEG feeding and assisted transfers.

Who is nursing care for?
Nursing care at home is for those with a chronic health condition or complex needs that require a specialist team. Nursing care is around the clock are and will usually involve two nurses working alongside carers and other medical professionals.
Nursing care may be suitable for anyone who:
- Is recovering from or living with the effects of a stroke
- Has a neurological condition
- Has a brain or spinal injury
- Has long-term complex medical needs
For those diagnosed with a terminal illness, nursing care, can enable them remain at home for their final days or months. This allows the dignity they require while also making sure they remain comfortable throughout their palliative care.

Our carers are highly-trained and assist our nurse-led team with
- Ventilated care – Nippy, BIPAP, CPAP ventilation and suctioning
- Continence care – including bowel care, catheterisation and bladder washout

- Stoma care – including peg-gastrostomy care, urostomy and colostomy care

- Parkinson’s treatments – Duodopa or APO-go Pump
